Season 3 of the dYdX Yapper Program has officially come to a close, and it’s time to celebrate our standout community contributors. Over the past month, Yappers have been sharing insights, sparking discussions, and producing high-quality content around dYdX and the broader DeFi ecosystem.

If you made the Top 100, keep an eye on your DMs - the official @dYdX 𝕏 account will contact you within 48 hours to collect your wallet address and any other details needed to process your reward.

Do note that you have 72-hours to reply with your dYdX Chain address otherwise your reward will be forfeited.

As always, team members and partners are excluded from the Top 100. Any unclaimed or ineligible rewards will be redistributed through the Content Creator Rewards Program to recognise standout creators who didn’t make the Top 100 but still had a meaningful impact on the community.‍

How the Leaderboard Worked This Season‍

Season 3 winners were determined using Kaito’s unfiltered API data — the same approach used for Seasons 1 and 2 — which reflected rankings prior to Kaito’s algorithm change on August 8.

This determination metric is not only consistent with the ethos of the dYdX Yapper program which is to recognise active community members who consistently produce high-quality content and communications about dYdX and the broader ecosystem, but is also in line with our community sentiments following Kaito’s most recent update to its ranking algorithm.

The Season 3 winners embody the spirit of the dYdX Yapper program. We celebrate the genuine value that they have brought to the community, regardless of their individual reach.‍

Next Steps for the Community‍

Season 3 marks the final season in which the dYdX Yapper Program will feature direct USDC rewards. Starting next season, the $50,000 in monthly rewards will be reallocated to power a range of new community campaign activations, including:

Trading competitions
Gamified rewards programs
Creative campaign activations
Ambassador rewards

Our goal is to keep community rewards flowing to recognise dedicated dYdX community members across a wider variety of activities.

The dYdX Yapper Program will continue as a way to track and celebrate top contributors. Instead of the usual direct rewards, the $50,000 monthly rewards will now be redirected into a broader mix of initiatives - creating more ways for community members to participate and win rewards by supporting dYdX in different formats. ‍The Ambassador Program is Live‍

In place of the dYdX Yapper Program direct rewards, active contributors can now look to contribute to the dYdX ecosystem even more closely via the dYdX Ambassador Program.

Active Yappers can step up as official dYdX Ambassadors and continue to champion the ecosystem by completing a set of activities that can win them up to $500 in monthly rewards.

It’s a way to take your involvement to the next level - shaping the community while being recognised for your ongoing contributions.
